BIDDING PROCESS FOR WYC 2025

Phase 1: Interest phase

• March 2023: Release of the expression of Interest Phase. This first phase of the bid process is an interest phase, and it does not represent a commitment to the bid.

  • The ITTF will then reach out to all bidders that have shown an expression of interest to learn more about them, their bid, explain more about the WYC and the rest of the bidding process.

• 30 April 2023: Close of Phase 1

  • Bids not submitted in Phase 1 shall not be eligible for Phase 2.​

Phase 2: Bid phase - Commitment to bid

​

• 1 May 2023: Detailed bids are due and a commitment to bid will be required.

​​

• 30 June 2023: Close of Phase 2

 

 

 

Phase 3: Selection phase 

​

• July 2023 to August 2023: Evaluation and inspections shall be held during this period by the Selection Committee.

​​​​

• Council 2023 (estimated August 2023): Bidders are invited to present their final bid book to the ITTF for voting at the by ITTF Council.

​

• ITTF Council votes on the host for the Event.
