THE ANNUAL TABLE TENNIS EXTRAVAGANZA

THE NEW ITTF WORLD TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The ITTF World Table Tennis Championships were divided into separate events for team and individual competitions starting in 2003. Before this change, both team and individual events were held together every two years. After 2003, the ITTF decided to alternate the events, holding team events in even-numbered years.​

 

New and more opportunities for interested parties to organize more than just the biggest table tennis competition, but also a big gathering for the table tennis world. A new appealing competition format presented at the highest levels possible and complemented by marketing and promotional activities for what can be a Table Tennis event for all!

    • Acquisition of knowledge and knowhow by LOC personnel pertaining to event hosting
    • Positive outcomes occurring prior to, during, and after the event, including those stemming from the bidding process
