BIDDING PROCESS FOR
WYC 2023 & 2024

Phase 1: Interest phase

• 1 April 2022: Release of the expression of Interest Phase. This first phase of the bid process is an interest phase, and it does not represent a commitment to the bid.

  • The ITTF will then reach out to all bidders that have shown an expression of interest to learn more about them, their bid, explain more about the WYC and the rest of the bidding process.

• 31 May 2022: Close of Phase 1

  • Bids not submitted in Phase 1 shall not be eligible for Phase 2.​

Phase 2: Bid phase - Commitment to bid

​

• By 1 June 2022: ITTF to release detailed bid documents

• 31 July 2022: Detailed bids are due and a commitment to bid will be required.

• 31 July 2022: Close of Phase 2

 

 

 

Phase 3: Selection phase 

​

• 1 August 2022 to 30 September 2022: Evaluation and inspections shall be held during this period by the Selection Committee.

• October 2022: Bidders are invited to present their final bid book to the ITTF for voting at the 2022 Board of Directors (BoD).

​

• ITTF BoD votes on the host for the 2023 and 2024 WYC.
