BID PROCESS

The ITTF Competition Department welcomes applications to host 2020 ITTF Para Events.

Applicants may apply to stage events as following:

  • One ITTF Factor 40 and/or

  • One ITTF Factor 20

           
We strongly suggest to carefully read the organisational and bidding conditions in the 2020 ITTF Para Events Directives, Press Requirements and Bidding forms before sending in your application.

The final deadline by which applications must be returned is 7 June 2019

Please use the appropriate PDF form for your application and send it by e-mail attachment to:

Each bidding association will receive final confirmation on the dates and on the tier of their event soon after the application process is over (approximately one month after the deadline).

BID PANEL

The Bid Panel consists of the ITTF Competition and ITTF Marketing Departments.

 

BID EVALUATION CRITERIA

Bids will be evaluated with higher emphasis on technical implementation, and developmental efforts. A commitment to production for TV or Streaming will be preferred.

To submit your bid, please click on the link below. Please note that this bidding form is only for the ITTF Para Events. 

General Conditions:
  • Dates highlighted in yellow in Calendar are the recommended dates for events in the first quarter.
  • Dates highlighted in orange in Calendar are the possible dates for the Paralympic Qualification events.
  • Dates highlighted in red in Calendar are the unavailable dates for Para events.
  • Each National Association can apply to a maximum of one Factor 20 and one Factor 40 event along the year, but the events must be held in different quarters.
  • The Paralympic Qualification event will be managed in a different bid so any National Association may apply regardless the regular events that they have requested.
